My Approach
There's a time and a place to line up, stand still, and smile for the camera, but I believe that this should be kept to a minimum. I seek to tell stories through my photography. What do you do for fun as a family? What is your typical date night as a couple? Let's re-live it! Many of my sessions include running around the city, doing chores at the farm, grabbing coffee, and adventuring around the woodlands. I'll work with your vision of an activity that encapsulates you and your loved ones' personalities.

My husband and I have used Abby as our photographer since we were dating and I have loved getting to see her business grow and her ability to capture such amazing memories. Her photos are literally one of my most favorite things in the world and I am excited to have her continue to capture memories for us in the future.

Rooted in the Gospel
I believe in Jesus Christ and the Gospel. I believe that in the beginning, God created the world and everything in it. It was perfect in its time and human nature dwelled in perfect unity with God. When Adam and Eve committed the first sin, they cast the world into brokenness. Because God is holy and sin is evil, He cannot be with sin. This is why we see evil in forms of sickness, crime, addiction, etc. Humanity tries to find wholeness in these things, but just like a rubber band that is stretched and released, all of these different avenues are temporary and will not bring happiness or completion. Only God is capable of filling the void that humanity longs for. Seeing this problem, God created a way for man to be brought back into communion with Him. He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ to earth to be born of a virgin. Jesus was a perfect man who walked a holy and blameless life. A King that came to serve and save the lost. He was innocently crucified on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for our sin, and He miraculously rose three days later. Because of His sacrifice, whoever believes in Him and turns away from sin may have eternal life through Christ Jesus, restoring and redeeming communion between God and man.
Because Jesus gave the most extraordinary gift to me, the gift of life, I choose to follow in obedience to Him. My life goal has now shifted from selfish desires, to pursuing HIS glory. Through my business, I hope to exemplify Christ in my actions, words, and work for His glory.

a look into my head and heart
These 4 pillars are the driving force of my business. They are based on the value of life. Without them, by business is in vain. As I seek to exemplify christ in my art and character, I keep these 4 pillars at the forefront of my mind.

I am called to do everything for the glory of God, "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God," (1 Corinthians 10:31). In a world full of decietfulness and people doing anything just to get by, I want to stand apart from that. Not for my own gain, but because I want to love others well. The true definition of excellency is rooted in the value of life for others.
I will confess that I am competitive and I struggle with finding much of my identity in my success. However, my awareness to these tendencies grows me ever more cautious of them. I don't want to just sell you my product. I want to give you my all, and even grow a relationship of friendship! I am not afraid of the competitive market out there because I value integrity and fairness between my clients.
...“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets,” (Matthew 22:37-40). The greatest commandment is love as Christ is love! My love for God pours out onto my love for His creation. I seek to love and care for my clients with the best of my ability.

I believe photography is such a beautiful gift from the Creator! As a photographer, I get to capture creation and preserve it for a lifetime to come. Being made in God's image, He has no boundaries for creativity. There will always be a different perspective when it comes to His creation. This is where my love for storytelling comes into play. I want to dive deep into the layers of your human, your story. I desire to showcase the value that He has for your life!
