Just south of the Oregon border, Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park was the perfect forest escape for Johnnie and Jared’s storytelling couples session. Even without the classic light rays filtering through the trees, the overcast sky gave the redwoods a soft, even glow—ideal for slowing down and soaking in the moment.

From the second we met up, Johnnie and Jared brought the most joyful, carefree energy. They were playful, affectionate, and totally present with each other. Whether they were dancing between tree trunks, twirling under the towering canopy, or curled up together reading a book, every moment felt genuine and sweet.

Their love was loud in all the best ways—expressive, goofy, and full of warmth. The forest gave us the quiet space to let that connection shine without distractions. Nothing forced or overly posed—just real moments captured in one of the most beautiful places in the PNW.
