Some wedding days just feel like home — and this one truly did.

Malloree and I grew up together, spending countless hours on the volleyball court and making memories that I’ll always hold close. So when she asked me to photograph her wedding day, it felt like coming full circle — watching someone I’ve known for so long step into such a beautiful new chapter.

Their wedding took place this August at Milestones Barn in Warrensburg, Missouri, and it was one of those perfect Midwestern summer days — blue skies, a light breeze, and (let’s be honest) the kind of heat that makes the cold beer taste extra good.

From the moment I arrived, I could tell this day was going to be something special. Malloree looked absolutely radiant — I don’t think I’ve ever seen her smile so much. Dalton, her groom, is one of those genuinely kind and fun-loving guys who balances her so well. The way he looked at her throughout the day said everything.

Their story started through a mutual friend, and like all the best love stories, the rest is history. Together, they’ve built a relationship rooted in laughter, friendship, and that kind of easy-going love that makes everyone around them feel at ease.

The vibe of the day was rustic meets glamorous — a perfect mix of down-to-earth charm and timeless beauty. The barn was filled with warm wood tones, twinkle lights, and a touch of sparkle that made everything feel romantic and effortless. Guests laughed, danced, and toasted under the Missouri sunset, celebrating two people who are clearly meant for each other.

As the night went on, the beer flowed, the music turned up, and the belly laughs echoed through the barn. It was one of those weddings where you can feel the love in the air — not just between the couple, but from everyone there who’s been a part of their story.
